UTY Philosophy

We are an independent crew of professional designers, involved in the sport and snow industry for 20 years. We are as well authentic riders’ enthusiasts. Finding the utility products which would serve our passion was a necessity. Since we couldn’t find the outfits we wish and need, we designed and produced them. These garments had to be.

For you to enjoy your favorite playgrounds freely and safely, we focused on the value in use. Your highest requirements are integrated in our design and guaranteed by our manufacturing process. UTY label is genuine. UTY gears don’t lie.

Unique Value in Use

All our products are designed to provide comfort in action and maximum protection in use. The core design and the choice of fabrics and accessories are validated by professionals, testing our gears for over 100 days each season. Hence, we can focus on going beyond the state of the art from season to season. Then, we constantly innovate and develop exclusive new features to improve your ride. We manufacture limited edition of less than a 100 pieces per style.

Tangible Eco Value

As we care about our playground health, we use the latest environmentally friendly technologies available: polyester recycled membrane, organic cotton and natural dye…

In addition, we recycle fabrics from our factories’ inventory in so far as they meet our high quality standard. Furthermore, we run our production during the low manufacturing season. Avoiding the peak season reduces pollution and improves labor conditions. All our partner factories are in accordance with the latest international human right standards.

Actual Human Values

Valid and disabled riders deserve the same level of comfort and protection. We decided to design a specific version of our core products for Disabled Ski. The garment ergonomics have been rethought in collaboration with a disabled-ski instructor and rider to provide high value in use. The first garment will be available in a limited edition for winter 09/10.
